Production Partners was engaged by Mophie to design, engineer and manufacture their award-winning, 3 axis adjustable, iPad Powerstand. Production Partners managed the full production process that included metal stamping, injection molding, pcba electronics engineering, all the way through to MFi certification.
Achieving this level of mechanical refinement required advanced DFM (Design for Manufacturing) strategies, extensive fatigue and tolerance testing, and close-loop quality control throughout the production process. The challenge: deliver seamless user interaction and mechanical robustness—while keeping the aesthetic minimal and the structure compact.
The result is a product that feels as solid as it looks—perfectly at home in a modern workspace or home environment.
